LOBLOO sells a premium groin guard at $49.99 in a category dominated by brands like Diamond MMA, Shock Doctor, and Venum — many priced as low as $13. Through full-service Amazon advertising and listing optimisation services across 11 markets, profit margins were protected, the price point held without sacrificing conversion, and LOBLOO now outperforms category competitors by 2x on conversion rate for their most critical keywords.

About the company

LOBLOO was founded by Usama Aziz — an Olympian wrestler, national boxing team athlete, and former European MMA champion. With more than 34 years competing at the highest level, over 3,000 fights, 400 weigh-ins without ever missing one, and 9 surgeries, he knows what it takes to win. At age 41, he ended his career with one of his best performances — defeating UFC Hall of Fame pioneer Jens Pulver.

Throughout his journey, he never found an athletic cup that didn't distract, hinder, or wear on him. That frustration became the spark for LOBLOO: to create the kind of equipment he had always wished for — with the answer found in nature's own bionic design.

The challenge

With rising CPCs and increasing competition from established brands, LOBLOO needed to maintain sales volume while improving profit margins to 30%. Several compounding pressures made this difficult:

  • Rising Amazon advertising costs eating into profitability while established competitors like Diamond MMA, Shock Doctor, and Venum dominated the category

  • Declining branded search volume, forcing a need to find new ways to win customers outside of brand recognition

  • A premium price point of $49.99 that required clear, compelling Amazon listing optimisation to convert against rivals priced as low as $13

  • An underoptimised customer journey limiting conversion rates and making it harder to justify the premium positioning
